Dr. Robin Goland is a supervisor of clinical research and patient care departments at the Berrie Center. Dr. Robin Goland is the Medical Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Columbia University. In July 1998, the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center has founded in large part thanks to her efforts.

The Berrie Center has gained national and international recognition for excellence and innovation in patient treatment and research in diabetes under the direction of Dr. Goland and Berrie Center Co-Director Dr. Rudolph Leibel. Harvard University awarded Dr. Goland a B.A., and Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons awarded him an M.D. She trained in endocrinology research at Columbia University while working as a chief medical resident and resident at NY-Presbyterian Hospital.
