
Clark Charles Smith, MD, MPH
Clark Charles Smith, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He specializes in treating people with sudden and prolonged spine and sports injuries.
Dr. Smith has dual board certification in pain medicine and physical medicine & rehabilitation.
He earned his M.D. after completing his undergraduate studies at Duke University, and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from Tulane University. He also completed a multidisciplinary pain medicine fellowship at Northwestern University and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
Dr. Smith offers a variety of medical procedures, such as radiofrequency ablation, spine injections, spinal injections with epidural steroids, ultrasound, fluoroscopically guided joint injections, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Every patient’s maximum level of performance and function is the ultimate goal of Dr. Smith’s treatment.
