Dr. Angelena Labella gets her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Later, she received internal medicine training at the University of Washington. She then worked as a Hospitalist at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Labella started her infectious diseases fellowship at New York University Hospital in 2010 and spent a year working in a lab that studied the genetic epidemiology of Staphylococcus aureus. In July 2012, she started working for Columbia’s Hospitalist Service.
